MacPaint - to type past the window edge, type until you reach the edge.  Hit the Enter key and move to an empty spot.  Retype the last couple of letters, select them with the Lasso, Cut and move the window to expose the last few letters.  Paste and drag the letters until the duplicate ones exactly cover the originals.
